Some things in life require little attention and others a lot. It comes down to what is one's priorities and what is not. God’s amazing new covenant with us is love; He loves us with an everlasting love!

Jer 31:3 The LORD appeared to us in the past, saying: 

        “I have loved you with an everlasting love; 

         I have drawn you with unfailing kindness. 

Seeking God first and doing life his way needs careful attention. Look at God's words to the Israelites.

Deut 29:9  Carefullyfollow the terms of this covenant, so that you may prosper in everything you do.

God has a covenant of love with you and he is your only source for a truly significant life!

Deut 7:9  Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments.

True prosperity is the result of surrendering to God's love and letting that love flow through you! The secret to living a Christ-like life is not trying to be righteous but rather letting God’s love produce its righteousness within you and through you. God alone is your prosperity and your real purpose! Since knowing God is the most essential thing in life, it would make sense to make knowing God and living his life your highest priority!  So…
