Yay! It’s the season of Thanksgiving! I don't know about you, but I Love this season! I don't know–maybe it's the food? :-) In all sincerity though, I love the idea of Thanksgiving and being thankful! Have you ever considered the idea that, the spirit of Thanksgiving should be our everyday way of living?” Doesn't it seems fitting that our wonderful God would receive thanks, praise and adoration every day?! 

I believe that when you thank him, it brings honor to him and causes his glory to be released and unveiled where you are! The true power of a thankful heart is made known when you are in the middle of a trial and life seems to be shaking you to your core, and you choose to thank God anyway! This is where an amazing breakthrough can happen! Look at these powerful Scriptures…

Ps 50:23 He who sacrifices thank offerings honors me, and he prepares the way so that I may show him the salvation of God. (NIV) 

God inhabits the praises of His people! (Ps 22:3)

Whenever you hear the word sacrifice, you can be sure that some form of death is involved. When you thank God in the middle of difficult circumstances, the part of you that would like to complain must die as you choose the polar opposite – the life of faith and thanksgiving! When you choose this life, you prepare the way for God’s salvation to be brought to you! This is a very powerful key that can transform your life and bring you great increase!
