Wow! Even before God made the world he was thinking about you! You were on his mind and his plans for you brought him great pleasure! If you were to understand this scripture in its fullness it would be more than you could possibly bear or contain – it is so wonderful!

Eph 1:3-5 (NLT) All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ. Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes. God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure.

Even before God made the world, he loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes. The Bible clearly tells us, "there is none righteous not even one.” (Rom 3:10) Therefore, he chose us not because we were going to be able to do it good enough, but rather because Jesus Christ, his son, would do it good enough for us! Jesus came and paid the price for your right standing with God and has given you the opportunity to be fully reconciled to God. God is so in love with us! We are everything he has ever wanted! His plan to come and take the punishment for our sin, gave him great pleasure because of his great love for us! He wanted us so bad that no expense was spared, not even the life of his son! You are called to be an ambassador of Christ to let others know this amazing good news! Think about it… This is so wonderful in that it is beyond our ability to comprehend fully! Think about it… even before he made the world….
