WHO GOD IS

 

I think that we can all agree that often times ”talk is cheap.” Sometimes words can confuse the situation and make it seem like something it actually is not. Though words are very important, it is not what we say that we are known for, but rather what we do. Our actions are the true voice of our life. May the Spirit of God live in you so powerfully that your life speaks clearly the heart of our God! 

James 2:18-24 But someone will say, “You have faith; I have deeds.” Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by what I do. You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that –and shudder. You foolish man, do you want evidence that faith without deeds is useless? Was not our ancestor Abraham considered righteous for what he did when he offered his son Isaac on the altar? You see that his faith and his actions were working together, and his faith was made complete by what he did. And the scripture was fulfilled that says, “Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness,” and he was called God’s friend. You see that a person is justified by what he does and not by faith alone

Prov 20:11  Even a child is known by his actions, by whether his conduct is pure and right.

Jesus said in Luke 6:45 that from the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks. In other words, you can only truly give away consistently who you are – not who you are trying to be. Receiving the love of God is the key to having a life that displays the love of God! You get a suntan by simply relaxing in the sun. Don't work it up...soak it up. The powerful life of God is for those who are humble enough to simply receive! Those who will, like a child, just believe the amazing love of God as found in his word, will have a life that speaks very loudly of the beauty of…
