IT FLOWS THROUGH YOU!

Real love is not only an expression of God, it is the essence of his very person! We never know if we have real love until we love someone who does not love us; even more, one who hates us and has done us wrong. The kind of love that loves someone who hurts us is not natural... it is supernatural!

Luke 6:27-36 27 (NIV) "But I tell you who hear me: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, 28 bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. 29 If someone strikes you on one cheek, turn to him the other also. If someone takes your cloak, do not stop him from taking your tunic. 30 Give to everyone who asks you, and if anyone takes what belongs to you, do not demand it back. 31 Do to others as you would have them do to you. 32 "If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? Even 'sinners' love those who love them. 33 And if you do good to those who are good to you, what credit is that to you? Even 'sinners' do that. 34 And if you lend to those from whom you expect repayment, what credit is that to you? Even 'sinners' lend to 'sinners,' expecting to be repaid in full. 35 But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked. 36 Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.

1 John 4:7-11 (NLT) Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God. Anyone who loves is a child of God and knows God. 8 But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love. 9 God showed how much he loved us by sending his one and only Son into the world so that we might have eternal life through him. 10 This is real loveā€”not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins. 11 Dear friends, since God loved us that much, we surely ought to love each other.

Remember, you cannot make a withdrawal until there has been a deposit. Before the love of God can flow through us, we must intentionally soak it up through an intimate relationship with God by faith. Receiving the love and forgiveness of God in a real and tangible way causes us to live that very love towards others in a real and tangible way! The thermometer of our Christianity is our love for each other. It's time to step out into a greater and deeper love! It's time to receive, it is time...
