Getting the right nutrients in the right combinations is vital to excellent health. You have heard of cereals and such that are fortified with essential vitamins and or minerals. Do you know that there are also spiritual essentials that come from the Spirit and must be ingested through the word of God and Prayer? They are essential for optimum living and prosperous life. 

Gal 5:22-23  But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.

Psalm 1:2-3  But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night.  He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers.

Meditating on the word of God is similar to a cow chewing the cud. When a cow chews the cud, it means that the grass it has eaten comes back up to its mouth multiple times, from multiple stomachs so that all the nutrition is extracted from the grass. So it is with us, we must bring the word that God has spoken to us up into our hearts and minds, and go over and over it until we fully soak in all that it is!

Many Christians are living malnourished because they have not taken the time to “meditate” on the truths that God has spoken to them. We know that the word of God is God himself. (John 1:1) Therefore, when you meditate on the word of God, you are soaking in God himself! Jesus said, "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God." (Matthew 4:4)In other words, to have an amazing life, natural food is important but spiritual food is even better!

I am praying for you today – I believe that you will find out how satiating it is to fill yourself with the nutrition of heaven! Jesus told us to pray, “Give us this day our daily bread.” (Matthew 6:11)This heavenly nutrition is something you need every day! May you take the time today to get your most necessary, heavenly essentials! May you, by the Spirit, experience God’s amazing and empowering life, as you are filled up with all of his wonderful essentials that make life great! Let the Holy Spirit have his way in your life today. What you do today will determine your tomorrow! Get into the word and commune with God! Today is your day to get your heavenly…
