THIS IS SERIOUS
Knowing God intimately is paramount! God is all about intimate relationship – his MO is love! God is longing for us to know the depth of his love! Look at these powerful words from King David to his son Solomon.
1 Chronicles 28:9-10 NLT “ And Solomon, my son, learn to know the God of your ancestors intimately. Worship and serve him with your whole heart and a willing mind. For the Lord sees every heart and knows every plan and thought. If you seek him, you will find him. But if you forsake him, he will reject you forever. So take this seriously. The Lord has chosen you to build a Temple as his sanctuary. Be strong, and do the work.”
This whole idea of intimacy with God is mind-blowing if you take the time to ponder it and investigate it. How valuable are we to God? If you really think about who God is – it is so off the charts that it becomes clear that the steps of this truth are beyond finding out! Right now as you sit and read this Encouraging Note, God’s heart is longing for you! He longs to be kind to you – he wants to show you the passion he has for you! Consider the following Scripture; this is the heart of God and what he is indeed like.
Isa 30:18 Yet the Lord longs to be gracious to you; therefore he will rise up to show you compassion. For the Lord is a God of justice. Blessed are all who wait for him!
Oh, that we would know how precious we are to God! Oh that we would trust him enough to let him lead us down paths that make us grow! We all know that there is no gain without pain! God understands this fully and is trying to teach you wonderful things! Surrender to, and embrace his love for you! Know that he is for you today and believe that he wants to be intimate with you!
