Daniel was having so much favor from the Lord that he was rising above the other leaders around him. King Darius was so impressed with Daniel that he was going to put him in charge of his entire empire… the most powerful empire on earth. This proposal made the other leaders jealous and they began to search intently for any fault they could find in Daniel. Look at what transpired.

Daniel 6:4 Then the other administrators and high officers began searching for some fault in the way Daniel was handling government affairs, but they couldn’t find anything to criticize or condemn. He was faithful, always responsible, and completely trustworthy. (NLT) 

He was faithful, always responsible, and completely trustworthy. Wow! I had to do a double take when I saw that! Faithful, always responsible and completely trustworthy! I would love to have been a close friend of such a man! I am sure he was respected and loved by many! This, I am sure of – God is looking to raise up those with the character of Daniel. Like the Marines, God is also looking for a "Few Good Men.” (and women)  Are you faithful, responsible and trustworthy? These characteristics are byproducts of receiving and living in the love of God! I love what apostle Paul said to the Philippian church.

Philippians 1:6  Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.

"It is God who works in you, both to will and to act according to his good pleasure." Phil 2:13 

Your season is now! God is ready to work into you the kind of character that will produce great things on the powerful stage God has planned for you in this life! Trials bring opportunities for God to do his work and you – don't be afraid of them – welcome them by faith! 

1Peter 1:6-9  In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. 7 These have come so that your faith—of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory and honour when Jesus Christ is revealed. 8 Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, 9 for you are receiving the goal of your faith, the salvation of your souls.

Oh yes! It is time for you to conquer during your seasons of trials! It is time for God to take you to the next level of character! It is time for your life to be a declaration of the power of God! In the name of Jesus, I declare the anointing of Daniel on your life. May you be one of great character! May what they said of Daniel…
