Would you have ever thought that these four simple words, “I know you do,” could be life-changing? The Bible records the power of these four simple words in the story found in Acts chapter 26. 

As we look at this story, we understand that this time in court was definitely not Apostle Paul’s first rodeo! Often, he had been brought before rulers and authorities by fellow Jews who wanted nothing less than death for him. Nonetheless, the experienced apostle was in court again, but now before a very prominent King, King Agrippa. Paul, in his defense before King Agrippa, discoursed on Jesus Christ and him being raised from the dead. The King was moved by Paul's speech and was cut to the heart when Paul said these words:

Acts 26:27-29  King Agrippa, do you believe the prophets? I know you do."  Then Agrippa said to Paul, "Do you think that in such a short time you can persuade me to be a Christian?" Paul replied, "Short time or long--I pray God that not only you but all who are listening to me today may become what I am, except for these chains."

I believe when apostle Paul said, "I know you do" that he was believing for King Agrippa. This act of faith by Apostle Paul released a supernatural movement from heaven into the heart of the king. There are many that we come in contact with every day that are struggling and need someone to come alongside them and believe for them! Many yearn for someone to love them enough to empower them by speaking faith and hope into their life and situation! The encouraging statement of faith and love that Apostle Paul spoke that day rendered King Agrippa speechless and left him staring into the face of a loving, kind and compassionate God! Though we don’t know if he became a Christian or not, one thing we do know is that the truth of God and his love profoundly touched the heart of the king.

I believe God is calling  you and me to live his life of love. Yes, today is your day to come along side someone and speak faith and hope into their life and situation! What a powerful opportunity you have to be an ambassador for God today! You don’t have to know a lot – all you need is a heart to love a lot! Can God use you today? Somebody needs you today!
