The last day of 2019? What? For real? Oh yes, it is! Happy New Year!  Wow! Can you believe it? Time has an uncanny way of slipping through the cracks so surreptitiously – doesn’t it? Man, I was in high school just a few days ago; at least that is what it feels like.

As you reflect upon the last 365 days, did you do what God asked you to do? Did you accomplish what he wanted you to accomplish? What can you learn from your mistakes and successes? This I know for sure, God is all up in your business and is excited about what he has for you in this next year! I love how God spoke it through the prophet Jeremiah.

Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

I don’t know about you, but, as I reflect upon this last year, I have room for a lot of improvement! Matter of fact, I see myself as a completely different person by the end of this next year. My sights are set upon the confident, God-filled, love-filled man God has called me to be. When I compare this last year with what I could’ve done vs what I did, I must admit that the issue was not me waiting upon God, but rather, God waiting upon me. By the grace of God, I can see the man God wants me to become, and it is a beautiful sight! I will be much stronger, much more loving, filled with faith and relentlessly pursuing the wonderful things God has put inside of me to give to this world.
