INNOVATION

I don’t know about you, but I enjoy having variety in my life! :-) God is a God of variety! God is always doing something new. God has given you gifts and talents, and he has placed a wonderful calling upon your life. God has many new and exciting ways to accomplish his great plan through you. By immersing yourself into your calling and by practicing, you will see great success.

1 Timothy 4:14-15 “Do not neglect the gift you have, which was given you by prophecy when the council of elders laid their hands on you.  Practice these things, immerse yourself in them, so that all may see your progress.”

1 Kings 3:12 “Behold, I give you a wise and discerning mind, so that none like you has been before you and none like you shall arise after you.”

Innovation is the fifth characteristic of a dreamer. It is essential to change it up– Do something different than you've ever done before. You have heard the saying, "Variety is the spice of life.” If everything were the same, how boring life would be! How much joy and fulfillment are realized by those who avail themselves to the richness of varieties of foods, colors, seasons, races etc. Our church is a multicultural church, and I love it that way! The beautiful things that I have learned from those that are different from me have indeed made me a richer man! 

God is always doing new things, and he loves it when we do new things and seek new ideas! No snowflake is the same; no grain of sand is the same. If we are going to tap into all the ways God wants to use our lives, we must be those who live on the cutting edge.

God wants to give you a wise and discerning heart that enables you to see new ways to bring spice to what God has called you to do. Practicing and immersing yourself in the gifting, calling and purpose that God has given you will open up new avenues of increase and significance!
