The Bible talks more about money then heaven and hell combined! Money is significant in the eyes of God because it is intricately tied to our hearts. Jesus says, “Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” Mat 6:21 The word  “treasure” in Greek is  “thēsauros."  This  Greek word speaks of the place where you have stored all your wealth. 

It is difficult to read the Bible and not believe that God wants to bless his children with financial wealth, but it is also abundantly clear that God does not want wealth to have us! Somebody once said, “if God can get it through you, he will get it to you.” A life of true purpose and significance is a life of blessing others! Mike Murdock said, “what you make happen for others, God will make happen for you.” It is so important to live a  “seed minded life.” Living to get will cause a person to live in depression and oppression. Living to give will cause a person to be filled with excitement, joy and life!

In light of all of this, how much money do you want to make in the next three months, six months, nine months, etc.? When will you be debt-free? Remember, God wants you to be blessed in every way! Consider this  New Testament Scripture that is clearly talking about finances and possessions in its context.

2 Corinthians 9:8-11  And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.  As it is written: "He has scattered abroad his gifts to the poor; his righteousness endures forever." Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. You will be made rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us, your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God. 

Will you trust that God sees you as one who is worthy to be blessed? Will you believe that you are perfect in his eyes? If the answer is yes, then start planning and strategizing! God, your senior partner, wants to come alongside you and release heaven’s wealth to you! Again, money will never satisfy you, but using what you have to give away to others is a life of great fulfillment!

If you are ready for increase, then it’s time to make your goals precise and very clear! You have to have something specific to believe God for! Put these goals in front of you every single morning and every single night! Taking heed to the wisdom that is being shared in these Encouraging Notes and acting on it will ensure a greater level of success and significance coming your way!
