MAY THIS BE YOU TODAY!

Here is truly a mind-blowing thought – God so loved the world that he gave his only son, that whosoever would believe in him would not perish but have everlasting life. (John 3:16) Think about It! God loved you and me so much that nothing would be spared in his effort to bring us back to himself, even if it meant the death of his only son – that is mind-blowing and even downright unbelievable!

How incredible! This kind of love is beyond our understanding! The blood of God’s only son, Jesus Christ, was shed because of the intense love of God for you and me. Sometimes I wonder, do we really care? Do we really understand the intensity of God’s love for us? Do we reciprocate that same love back to him? Listen to a Psalmist who was reciprocating that same love back to God.

Psalm 84:1, 2 How lovely is your dwelling place, Lord Almighty! My soul yearns, even faints, for the courts of the Lord; my heart and my flesh cry out for the living God.

The writer of this Psalm definitely had a passion for God! Apostle Paul truly believed in the precious love of God for him, and he wrote the following:

1 Corinthians 9:24-27  Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. 25 Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever. 26 Therefore I do not run like a man running aimlessly; I do not fight like a man beating the air. 27 No, I beat my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize.

Receiving the love of God is a process. In fact, it is the most transformative process a person can ever embark upon! Are you being changed by the process of receiving the love of God for you? Is there a longing in your heart for more of God in your life today?

The way that you know someone is in the process of receiving more and more of the love of God is the life of love that they display – more and more! My dear friend, I am praying that you will surrender to the love of God today like never before! He is all around you and within you and is anxiously awaiting for you to surrender even deeper to his love so that he can pour out more of his love into you today! I am also praying that because of your understanding of God’s love for you; your life will be characterized by a heart that craves the heart of God and passionately pursues him! I am trusting that God’s love so touches you today that his great purpose of love will flow through you to fill this earth with his love! Wow, what a privilege! Oh yes...

MAY THIS BE  YOU TODAY!
