Genuine faith always has a corresponding action. Many people focus their lives on doing instead of believing and end up a life that accomplishes very little. But make no mistake; our faith is revealed by what we do, and God’s reward will be according to the good deeds produced by that faith! 

Romans 2:6-8 God will give to each person according to what he has done. To those who, by persistence in doing good, seek glory, honor, and immortality, he will give eternal life. But for those who are self- seeking and who reject the truth and follow evil, there will be wrath and anger.

In Mark chapter 11, Jesus had cursed the fig tree, and when the disciples realized that it had withered at Jesus’ command, they were amazed! Look at Jesus’ reply to them. 

Mark 11:22-24 And Jesus answering, says to them, “Have faith from God. 23 Truly I say to you that whoever shall say to this mountain, ‘Be you taken away and be you cast into the sea,’ and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that what he says takes place, it will be done for him. 24 Because of this I say to you, all things whatever praying, you also ask, believe that you receive, and it will be to you. (BLB)

I like how this translation says, “Have faith from God.” Because true faith that overcomes the world is from God! (1Jn 5:14) The book of James lets us know that faith without works is dead. (James 2:17) The most crucial action of faith you will ever operate in is the action of love. 

Galatians 5:6 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value. The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love.

The faith of God is the power inside of you to do the mighty works of God. The proof of God-kind of faith is a life filled with the love of God! John 13:35 By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”

Living in the faith of God and in the love of God, go hand-in-hand! Your ability to respond towards others with the love of God is predicated upon you, by faith, receiving an existing in God’s love! A revival of the love of God is getting ready to sweep the body of Christ! Today is your day to set your mind on what the word of God has said is true regarding God’s love for you! A life that displays the love of God comes from existing, minute by minute inside of that love! 

I’m praying for you today! I’m asking God to cause what you believe to be translated into action! Jesus said, “In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven. (Mt 5:16)

It is time for all that you were created for to be made known! The world is longing to experience the love of God, and you are heaven’s ambassador! (2Cor 5:20) As you go about your day today, please remember that the genuine faith of God within you will always produce the…
