God gave his only Son so that you would never drift away from his love! “God so loved the world that he gave his only Son” – how incredible! Amazing love! Jesus said, “I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” John 10:10b God wants us to be full of heaven’s life – yes, full of it! Have you ever had someone tell you that you were “full of it?” If only they were talking about being full of heaven’s life! :-) In that case, I would love to be known as one who is “full of it.” Maybe I should ask you the question, are you “full of it?”

People miss the life of being “full of it” by trying to earn God and his favor. Some view Christianity as a lifestyle of trying to be good and do good things. Though this sounds honorable, it produces more sin and, therefore, a life of failure! Please read the following scriptures very carefully.

Rom 5:20-21 The law was added so that the trespass (sin) might increase. But where sin increased, grace increased all the more, 21 so that, just as sin reigned in death, so also grace might reign through righteousness to bring eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Rom 7:8 But sin, seizing the opportunity afforded by the commandment, produced in me every kind of covetous desire. For apart from the law, sin is dead.

The law wasn’t added to help you be righteous; on the contrary, it was added to make you sin more. God never intended for us to live by the power of self, trying to be good enough to deserve God’s blessing. God sent Jesus to deliver us from this mentality! Apostle Paul said, “Therefore no one will be declared righteous in God’s sight by the works of the law; rather, through the law, we become conscious of our sin..” Romans 3:20 The law makes you sin conscious and therefore always living in condemnation. Apostle Paul also declared, “There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.” Romans 8:1. The law was not a blessing for our lives, it was a curse! Jesus had to come and suffer so that we could be set free from the law. “Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a pole.” Gal 3:13

There is one thing that God desires and has always desired of us - Faith! Faith is the only thing that enables us to experience the life of God. God intended that you would live right here on earth with the very life of heaven. Jesus, therefore, told us to pray, “Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.” Matthew 6:10

Satan’s most hideous and deceitful lie was and still is to partake of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil – living by the law. How easy it is for us to drift away from God by trying to earn or deserve him  – trying to feel good about ourselves by our works. Trying to earn the abundant life of God is the most dangerous and most deceptive trick of Satan ever! You have to be on your guard at all times, making sure that you are not living by your own righteousness but instead, with a childlike heart, living as one who is perfect in God’s sight because of the blood of Jesus.

A revolution is at hand! The body of Christ is getting ready to step into the freedom of the grace of God as never before! Because of it, love will rule and reign in the body of Christ, and the world will see the glory of God through us! It is of utmost importance that you don’t allow yourself to drift away from simple faith in Jesus and his blood. No amount of obedience to the law will make you righteous in God’s sight; only the blood of Jesus!
