God allows us to have seasons where everything seems to be going wrong. These seasons of testing are extremely valuable because they have the power to launch us into the rewarding, fulfilling, and extraordinary life of fully trusting God! It is easy to trust in ourselves or our abilities as long as everything is going our way, but when we face challenges that are more than what we can handle without help, that is when the opportunity is ripe for tapping into the abundant life of God. 

1 Peter 1:7-9 These (trials) have come so that your faith–of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire –may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory, and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed. 8 Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, 9 for you are receiving the goal of your faith, the salvation of your souls.

Don’t ever lose sight of the fact that you are everything God has ever wanted! He dearly loves you and will never let you go! You can be entirely confident that God has this whole thing under control and that even now, he is working on your behalf!

Phil 1:6 He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion.

Phil 2:13 For it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose God is working in you both to will and to act according to his great pleasure!
