A LITTLE FAVOR!

 A little favor can go a long way! It is amazing what God can do! Wow! When God is our source, it will be evident that God is with us! God’s favor shows up when our trust is in him.

Gen 39:2-4 The Lord was with Joseph, and he prospered, and he lived in the house of his Egyptian master. When his master saw that the Lord was with him and that the Lord gave him success in everything he did, Joseph found favor in his eyes and became his attendant. Potiphar put him in charge of his household, and he entrusted to his care everything he owned.

 Wow! If you haven’t read the end of this story, you should check it out – it is so powerful! Joseph had great success in his life for one reason and one reason alone – the Lord was with him. You can be sure; a little favor from God changes everything! We must never think that it is our hard work or our super talent and skills that produce success in our life – No! This is a gift from God! Consider these insightful words of Moses to the children of Israel.

 Moses warned the children of Israel regarding this when he said, “You may say to yourself, “My power and the strength of my hands have produced this wealth for me.” But remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your forefathers, as it is today. (Deuteronomy 8:17-18)

 According to this Scripture, the power to produce wealth was a confirmation of God’s covenant between him and his children. God longs to give wealth to those whose hearts are surrendered to him and his purposes! Trusting God causes his favor to be upon us! Just as Joseph prospered no matter where he went, so God longs to prosper you in all that you do! Trusting God will cause you to accomplish great things! This is your opportunity to seek his face and put him first! It is time to believe God as never before! Oh yes! Great life comes from Him and Him alone! Don’t forget; all you need is...
