One of the greatest gifts anyone could give you is to bring you before God in prayer! It is empowering to know that people are thinking of you and praying for you? Someone who cares about you enough to take the time to bring you before the Creator of the universe is truly a gift from heaven!

The principle of sowing and reaping is exciting! Taking the time to pray for someone God has put on your heart will result in more prayers reaching the throne of heaven on your behalf! Since the principle of sowing and reaping works in every area of life, you can be sure that prayer is no exception! What you make happen for others, you can be sure that God will make happen for you!

Galatians 6:7 Do not be deceived; God cannot be mocked. Whatever a man sows, that shall he also reap.

Apostle Paul loved his son in the faith, Timothy, and here is what he said to him.

2Timothy 1:3  I thank God, whom I serve, as my forefathers did, with a clear conscience, as night and day I constantly remember you in my prayers. 

When you take the time to pray for someone, you are giving yourself for their best. This is what love does!

John 15:13  “ Greater love has no one than this that he lay his life down for his friends.”

A common thread can be seen in God’s great men and women who have gone before us, and that thread is prayer. The prophet, Samuel, was one of those greats, and here is a powerful statement he made regarding prayer and the people of Israel. “As for me, far be it from me that I should sin against the Lord by failing to pray for you. And I will teach you the way that is good and right.” 1 Samuel 12:23
