WANT THE WEALTH OF GOD?
The Bible says, “The earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof; the world and they that dwell therein.” (Psalm 24:1) Haggai 2:8 declares, “The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, declares the LORD Almighty.” God owns everything and can do anything; he is even able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all you can ever ask or even think. (Eph 3:20) The critical part of this equation is that our hearts need to be right with him! God wants us to be able to have his blessing but not have those blessings have us! It's all about the heart!… Check this out!
2Chron 1:11-12 God said to Solomon, "Because your greatest desire is to help your people, and you did not ask for wealth, riches, fame or even the death of your enemies or a long life, but rather you asked for wisdom and knowledge to properly govern my people-- I will certainly give you the wisdom and knowledge you requested. But I will also give you wealth, riches and fame such as no other king has had before you or will ever have in the future!”
Solomon’s heart won the favor of God! God is longing to bless us, but we must have the same spirit as Solomon; a servants heart and choosing to put God first in all things! May the love of God rule your thoughts! May your purity be found and rewarded by God. It is available to those who put their trust alone in God and are willing to serve! When you want what God wants more than you want anything else, you end up having your cake and eating it too! It is interesting… What you make happen for others, God will make happen for you! My prayer for you today is that you would obtain all that God has for you by having a heart like Solomon and wanting what God wants more than you…
