Promise Land – Here We Come!
God brought the children of Israel out of Egypt so that he could take them into the Promise Land. Why did they not go in? It was because of unbelief. Do we struggle with this? Think about this – Why in the world did God ever say this to us, “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” Galatians 6:9 Why would he say this to us strong, Bible-toting, faith-walking people of heaven? Why? Because all of us struggle at times! All of us go through things that make us want to quit! God would have never told us not to be weary in well-doing if we were never going to feel like giving up.
Persistent, Faith-Filled, Passionate Prayer
It is most interesting that Jesus spends almost half of Luke 17 discussing the severity of the coming end times and, immediately after, tells a parable of this persistent woman who needed justice from a wicked judge and who, without wavering, persistently pursued him until she got her answer.
After God’s Own Heart!
Soon after Saul became king, he faced a war with the Philistines. Samuel, the prophet, had told him that he would come at a specific time to offer sacrifices to the Lord and to inquire of the Lord as to how they should proceed. But when the time came for the prophet to show up, Samuel was nowhere to be found. When the king realized that Samuel was not showing up and that the circumstances were becoming desperate, he decided, despite the command given by the prophet of God, to offer a sacrifice that he was not authorized to offer.

Get Ready – It’s Coming!
As the body of Christ, I believe our most exciting times are yet ahead! There is a revolution of grace happening in the world today! People are stepping into the freedom of the cross of Christ as never before! Just as God is moving mightily, the enemy is swiftly moving towards his goal of stopping God’s eternal plan. Just as light destroys darkness, so God will destroy the enemy and his plans.
I believe we are on the cuff of a move of God that will be the greatest this world has ever seen! The body of Christ will not leave this earth beat up, busted, and disgusted – No! We will leave this earth as the glorious and spotless bride of Christ! God has called us to be more than conquerors, and that is exactly how we will leave this earth!

Wisdom is the application of knowledge and wields power to chart a clear course even during times of great storm. Trusting God can tap you into supernatural wisdom far beyond your years and cause you to prosper even during times of trial.
This recent season of chaos in the world has caused many to live in fear. But I have some good news; those wise enough to trust God and live according to his truth will rise above fear! When you’re in the middle of God’s will, doing what he told you to do, God will make sure there is unusual wisdom available to you, especially when you face dire circumstances and impossible situations! In Luke 21, Jesus tells the disciples not to worry about what they will say when they are unjustly put on trial before kings and governors.
Luke 21:14-15 But make up your mind not to worry beforehand how you will defend yourselves. For I will give you words and wisdom that none of your adversaries will be able to resist or contradict.
Acts 6:8-10 Now Stephen, a man full of God’s grace and power, did great wonders and miraculous signs among the people. Opposition arose, however, from members of the Synagogue of the Freedmen (as it was called) –Jews of Cyrene and Alexandria as well as the provinces of Cilicia and Asia. These men began to argue with Stephen, but they could not stand up against his wisdom or the Spirit by whom he spoke.
There is no safer place on earth than in the middle of God’s will for your life! God wants to make a public show of his glory through your life, and this happens when you choose to live according to his truth and are willing to take bold steps of faith! Undoubtedly, stepping out in faith will require courage, but it will prove to be a glorious success for those who trust God! God is never on the losing side; with him, you win! With all that’s happening in the world, it seems as if the stage is set for the church to explode! When Covid19 hit, a new door for tremendous ministry for the body of Christ became a reality! Was it, or has it been easy? No! Accomplishing great things will always come through adversity!
I love what the great general in the faith, Reinhard Bonnke, once said, “Make the great commission your great ambition.” And what better time than now! God has put you and me on this earth as his hands, feet, and mouth. We are the ambassadors of heaven, and our message must be clear. Without you and I doing our job, the world will never hear the precious word of God’s love. Look at apostle Paul’s response regarding those who have never heard about Jesus.
What Do You Believe About You?
Most people don’t realize that how they perceive themselves is how they project themselves to others. Yes, you attract to yourself the very things you believe about yourself.
God had often told the children of Israel that he was bringing them into a land that flowed with milk and honey, and he made it clear that he was giving them the land.
In Numbers chapter 13, we find that God told the children of Israel to spy out the land he had promised to give them. So 12 men, one from every tribe, went to spy out the land. When they came back, 10 of the 12 spies focused on how big the giants were and how impossible it would be to conquer the land. But Caleb and Joshua believed God, silenced the crowd, and said, “We should go up and take possession of the land, for we can certainly do it.” Num 13:30 But the other ten spies were unwilling to let go of their negative perspective of themselves and continued by saying, “We can’t attack those people; they are stronger than we are.” And they spread among the Israelites a bad report about the land they had explored. They said, “The land we explored devours those living in it. All the people we saw there are of great size. We saw the Nephilim there (the descendants of Anak come from the Nephilim). We seemed like grasshoppers in our own eyes, and we looked the same to them.” Num 13:31-33
The negative words of those ten spies won the crowd over and kept them from ever seeing the beautiful land God was giving them. Because of their negative perspective, every single one of them, will
They All Comin!
I know – that might not be perfect English, but it reminds me of the diversity in language that I love!
You know, God has declared you as one who is adored and exceedingly precious in his sight! The racial issues of our world are not of God’s making and are unquestionably against his heart! Sometimes people want to segregate and separate the colors of humanity and make them be by themselves but do not fear; this is not how it is with God, nor shall it ever be!
What Grace Can Do For You!
The word of God makes it clear that grace must be at the center of all authentic Christian living! Trying to live in obedience to the law is the opposite of God’s plan through Jesus Christ! Apostle John said, “For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. John 1:17
Apostle Paul said, “For all who rely on the works of the law are under a curse, as it is written: “Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law.” Clearly, no one who relies on the law is justified before God, because “the righteous will live by faith.” Gal 3:10-11
Sometimes there’s confusion about what causes a person to live a Christlike life. For so long, the majority of preaching centered on trying harder to do what’s right and making a greater effort to obey God and love him with all. As well-meaning as this instruction may sound, it is counterproductive to producing a life that displays the righteousness of God! Look at this scripture.
Excited about Losing It All!
How could you ever be excited about losing something? Oh, I can assure you that sometimes losing something is the most rewarding and fulfilling thing you could ever do! Think about it; when it comes to love, people are willing to lose whatever it takes to gain it! Nothing you will ever experience in all of the world is more beautiful and wonderful than God’s love! The greatest blessing you will ever know is the overwhelming glory of being intimate with God.
When a person surrenders to the grace found in Jesus Christ, incredible and powerful things are on its heels!
Your Exceedingly Bright Future
Your thoughts are the building blocks for your future! Many have said, “It is easy to say but hard to do,” or, “Talk is cheap.” Consistently thinking the right thoughts is not easy, but it is so worth it! Those willing to think the right thoughts and follow through with actions will see great things happen in their life! Right thoughts produce right believing, and right believing comes before achieving! You have to see it on the inside before you will experience it on the outside.
Your Highest Priority!
God wants you to prosper in every way! It is important to note that prosperity comes from the priorities we set into motion. Some things in life require little attention and others a lot. What you deem as a priority will determine how much attention it deserves and how far you can go and what you can accomplish in that area.
God’s highest priority is you! Yes – God is in love with you! The old covenant was a covenant of works, but God’s new covenant with us is love. It is so important to realize that the very essence of God is love, and his love for us is everlasting!
Show It On The Outside!
You always know when someone is serious about something –their actions and passion show it. I remember a friend of mine who was preparing for the Olympics; often, when he came to church at 10 AM, he had already run 20 miles that morning. Crazy! There was no question about what he was pursuing!
That leads me to an oxymoron that has often plagued my thoughts. Many people who “claim” God and Christianity can be so passionate about
Prayer Matters!
We often hear that prayer is essential, but just how valuable is it? Samuel Chadwick made this profound statement: “The one concern of the devil is to keep Christians from praying. He fears nothing from prayerless studies, prayerless work, and prayerless religion. He laughs at our toil, mocks at our wisdom, but trembles when we pray.” Wow! You know, I believe that statement is correct!
I’m wondering, is the body of Christ giving prayer its rightful place? Charles Spurgeon once said, “I would rather teach one man to pray than ten men to preach.” Throughout the Bible, we see
One Who Withholds Nothing
The story of Abraham taking his son Isaac to sacrifice him on Mount Moriah is a remarkable picture of God and his sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Wow! Isaac was Abraham’s only (genuine) son, his future, his covenant blessing, and his most precious promise from God! Even though Isaac was Abraham’s promise from God, he was unwilling to withhold him from God.
Attract God’s Favor
Solomon was the son of the most famous king in the history of the nation of Israel, King David. King David was so renowned that even Jesus Christ will come back and sit on his throne. Just before his death, David installed Solomon, his son, as king over the entire kingdom of Israel. At the beginning of his reign, Solomon’s heart was wholly given over to God and his purposes.
