WILL YOU DANCE WITH ME?
1 Thess 5:16 Says, "Rejoice in the Lord always."The word "rejoice" speaks of celebration. God wants our lives is to be like a beautiful, skillful dance; happy and joyfully living life to it's fullest! To be sure, your life's dance partner will be the key to the success of your dance! So, who is your dance partner? For some its a friend, for others a new car, still others the approval of their peers. Is it possible that your current life partner will let you down? Psalm 63:1-8 O God, you are my God, earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you, my body longs for you, in a dry and weary land where there is no water. I have seen you in the sanctuary and beheld your power and your glory. Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you. I will praise you as long as I live, and in your name I will lift up my hands. My soul will be satisfied as with the richest of foods; with singing lips my mouth will praise you. On my bed I remember you; I think of you through the watches of the night. Because you are my help, I sing in the shadow of your wings. My soul clings to you; your right hand upholds me.
The most significant dance partner your life will ever experience is your loving, eternal Father, God! He will never let you down and will bring you more joy and fulfillment than anyone or anything ever could. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth and the life." (Jn 14:6a) If you are going to truly love life, it will come through Jesus Christ! God is longing to overwhelm you with his love, kindness and goodness! He has incredible things planned for you!
