QUESTIONS FOR ME
Have you ever thought about this... Why should people believe me when I share Jesus with them? What is it about me that would cause them to receive what I’m saying? Look at Jesus’ response to a similar question.
“Do not believe me unless I do the works of my Father. But if I do them, even though you do not believe me, believe the works, that you may know and understand that the Father is in me, and I in the Father.”” John 10:37-38 NIV
When I read something like this, I have to ask myself real and honest questions.
Are people able to see the reality of God in me?
Is the power of God being displayed through me?
Does the passion of God for people exude from my being?
Are people experiencing God’s love when they experience me?
These are questions that I cannot side-step and act as if everything is OK when the truth is, I need to be more like Christ! I believe the quickest way to enter into the faith of God is to enter into the rest of God by faith! God is longing for each of us to let go of our own righteousness and enter into his perfection! Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.” Matthew 11:28-30 NLT
I believe there is so much more God wants to do through us! I am asking God for revival! I am asking God to start with me – to transform me into his image that the world would know how beautiful he is! I don’t know about you, but these are great…
