LED BY HIS SPIRIT!

Spending time with God in worship and prayer really has outstanding benefits! Many people want to hear the voice of God but haven't been to the place where God is. Look at this scripture.

Heb 11:6  And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.

So why does he use the words “come to him?” Where do you have to go? Obviously, we don’t go to heaven – so where can a person go to tap into God? A person must step into the unseen to expect to have a relationship with the unseen. This is not a physical place or physical posture, but rather a state of heart and mind. Sometimes it requires setting aside the things of this world so as to lose sight of the natural so as to step into the spiritual.

Acts 13:2  While they were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, “Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.”

A mighty work for the kingdom was getting ready to be accomplished and these men and women of God needed to hear from the Lord. You can be sure, real worship and fasting get God's attention! Do you need to hear the voice of God in your life? Are there areas where you need supernatural guidance and direction! Do you need the leading and guiding of God’s Spirit today? Apostle Paul exhorted the believers, by his example, to fix their eyes on what is unseen…

So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. 2 Corinthians 4:18

My prayer for you today is that you would find God in the secret place of fasting and worship! I pray that you will recognize the mighty, awesome and most beautiful presence of God all around you. In order to be led by the unseen, you must enter the unseen... this is by faith and faith alone. Recognizing that God is in you and all around you is the first step. God wants to speak to you! May today be your day to hear his voice and may you be…
