I AM NOW HERE!

In one of the most quoted scriptures of the bible, King David writes, "Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. Psalm 23:4  King David was convinced that if God was with him, he had nothing to fear.

After Jesus had fed the 5000 (not including women and children) with two fish and five loaves of bread, he had his disciples get into a boat to go to the other side of the Sea of Galilee. At about 3 o’clock in the morning, Jesus came to the disciples walking on the water. They were terrified, thinking he was a ghost. Look at what he said to them, "But Jesus immediately said to them: "Take courage! It is I. Don't be afraid." "Lord, if it's you," Peter replied, "tell me to come to you on the water." "Come," he said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, "Lord, save me!" Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. "You of little faith," he said, "why did you doubt?" And when they climbed into the boat, the wind died down. Then those who were in the boat worshiped him, saying, "Truly you are the Son of God.”  Matthew 14:25-33

When you know that God is on your side, that is all you need to know! Peter stepped out and did the unthinkable because he knew Jesus. Consider carefully this next sentence, because it speaks of the choice we have in regards to our God and our ultimate trust in him. IAMNOWHERE- I am no where - I am now here. It is all about your thoughts and who you are trusting and believing. The theological word omnipresent, means that God is everywhere present. You cannot go where he is not fully present with you. If God is with you, you and God are a majority! The issue is not whether God is with you, but rather whether you believe it or not! Since God is with you, you have the opportunity for a better outlook on all your situations!  Look at the following scriptures, they are some of my favorites.

Mk 9:23 “Everything is possible for him who believes.”
Mk 11:22-24 “Have faith in God,” Jesus answered.   “I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him.  Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
Heb 13:5b “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
Ps 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.

May you believe God today! May you see him and him alone as your source, your provision, protection and purpose. Your best is yet to come! Why? Because God says…

I AM NOW HERE!
