Some people are really good at planning, organizing and creating processes. Without a process, a plan can never succeed. Though vital to true success, some processes are not so pleasurable, they require tenacious perseverance. There is a process that everyone must go through if they are going to fulfill God's purpose for their lives. Jesus had to go through it… And so will you! This is not an if… But rather a when! Look at what the James declared:

Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3  because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. 4  Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. James 1:2-4  

Jesus also spoke of this when he said, "In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” John 16:33b And apostle John made this powerful statement regarding how to overcome the world, "This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. 1Jn 5:4b

The writer of Hebrews says that pleasing God is trusting God! Heb 11:6 Though not fun, trials are necessary to bring us into real and genuine faith! When you go to the gym, perseverance is necessary because your muscle will be taken to the place of discomfort in order to increase. Likewise, if you’re going to make it through the “weight room of life,” you will be required to persevere and believe! You may be in a very difficult trial today. May you recognize your trial as your grand opportunity for great increase! May you trust God today... Don't quit... Come on, your best is yet to come…
