INTIMACY WITH GOD

Intimacy with God is not an accident any more than intimacy with one's spouse is. There is a nakedness and trust that is necessary for that kind of oneness. Are you willing to let God strip you of all the things, outside of him, you have been trusting in to make your life ok? Would you be willing to go to him, and him alone for your fulfillment, your needs, and your whole life? This is where true intimacy with God is found. Amazingly wonderful! Nothing can compare! Isn't it time? He is waiting for you!

Matthew 16:24-25  Then Jesus said to his disciples, "If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.   For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will find it.

There is a place where you give up your security and what’s comfortable to enter into what’s amazing and supernatural! This comes from a heart that has surrendered to the loving heart of God as proved in the cross of Jesus Christ! Look at these verses and let God speak to your heart!

Ps 84:2 My soul yearns, even faints, for the courts of the LORD; my heart and my flesh cry out for the living God.
James 4:8  Come near to God and he will come near to you.
Jeremiah 31:3  The Lord appeared to us in the past, saying:
