THE WHOLE WILL OF GOD!

The love of God so radically touched apostle Paul that he was often characterized as one who was “crazy" or “out of his mind.”  He was so touched by God's grace that he was compelled to share its truth.

2 Cor 5:13-21 If we are “out of our mind,” as some say, it is for God; if we are in our right mind, it is for you. For Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again. So from now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view. Though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

These words of Paul and how he was so graphically impacted by the incredible love of our awesome God stirs me and compels me towards passionate action! Look at these loving words of Paul to the church leaders of Ephesus. Paul has just told them that they would never see his face again and that the rest of his journeys would include prison and hardships. Look at what he says…

Acts 20:25-27 “Now I know that none of you among whom I have gone about preaching the kingdom will ever see me again. Therefore, I declare to you today that I am innocent of the blood of all men. For I have not hesitated to proclaim to you the whole will of God.

The whole will of God to Paul was declaring to the known world that God wants to give his love and all of his goodness to those who don't deserve it! This is so wonderful that words defy its accurate expression! I want to be like apostle Paul – I want to finish my race and keep the faith based on the eternal loving grace of God! I am praying today for the body of Christ to rise up and take hold! The answer to all of mankind’s woes is ours to give away! Don’t you think it's time to proclaim…
