ALIEN
Have you ever felt like you were a stranger or an alien in this world? Don’t feel bad because, as a born-again believer you are! The operation of this world is in opposition to the operation of God. We do not live in this world for the gratification of our fleshly nature but rather for the glory of God.
1 Peter 2:11 Dear friends, I urge you, as aliens and strangers in the world, to abstain from sinful desires, which war against your soul.
Titus 2:11-13 For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men. 12 It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self- controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, 13 while we wait for the blessed hope–the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ,
True fulfillment in this world is not based upon what this world has to offer but rather upon what is ours in God! The Scripture above in Titus tells us that it is grace that teaches us. Grace (Undeserved favor and help from God) is the teaching agent God wants to use to cause you to rise high above what this world can offer. God has called you to be more than a conqueror! (Rom 8:37) He longs for you to step into the exciting, fulfilling and rewarding life of his glory! (2Cor 4:6-7)
The most exciting life on this earth is the life filled with the glory of God! May the glory of God rest upon you today and may you live here for God and God alone.
