HE'S SPEAKING!
God is speaking... He is giving you clues as to what needs to happen. He is giving you the keys that will bring about his divine purpose, a life that makes a profound difference in this world. He is the Way, the Truth, and he is the Life! (Jn 14:6) May his voice be clear to you! He is speaking!
Mat 4:4He answered, “The Scriptures say: Bread alone will not satisfy, but true life is found in every word, which constantly goes forth from God’s mouth.”(TPT)
John 10:27-28 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand.
God is continually speaking! He is trying to communicate with you. He is trying to share with you the great things that he has in store for you! The issue is not whether he is speaking or not, but whether we are listening or not. Jesus said, “My sheep hear my voice.” (Jn 10:27) With the hustle and bustle of life, it is easy to get so caught up in the natural that we miss what is the most important – the spiritual. The best place to find God is in the secret place of quietness and trust. In the book of first Kings, we have the account of God’s interaction with Elijah.
1Ki 19:11-13 The Lord said, “Go out and stand on the mountain in the presence of the Lord, for the Lord is about to pass by.” Then a great and powerful wind tore the mountains apart and shattered the rocks before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake. 12 After the earthquake came a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire. And after the fire came a gentle whisper. 13 When Elijah heard it, he pulled his cloak over his face and went out and stood at the mouth of the cave. (NIV 1984)
Sometimes we are waiting to hear an audible voice or see something profound in the natural, but most often the place where you will find God is in the quietness of your heart. You can be sure of this, God is talking to you! Maybe it is time for you to set aside some quiet moments to share his perspicacious and profound voice! God is in love with you and has wonderful things for your future that he wants to share with you! It's time to quiet your heart.... shhh… can you hear him?...
