HEADS OR TAILS?
Have you ever been somewhere where they flipped a coin to see who would go first? Do you know that God wants you to go first? He wants you to win! He wants you to be the head, not the tail; above, never beneath! Do you think someone who loves you would encourage you to fight? This is precisely what God instructed us to do through his servant Timothy.
1 Tim 6:12 Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses.
A fight is only good when you are winning... right? God has called you to be a winner! He wants you to be on top not on the bottom! If you do it God’s way, you will find yourself at the top; you will win in life and have God’s favor chasing you.
Deut 28:13 The Lord will make you the head, not the tail. If you pay attention to the commands of the LORD your God that I give you this day and carefully follow them, you will always be at the top, never at the bottom.
Ps 23:6 Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
The command above all commands is love! And it is never by our might or power! (Zech 4:6) Faith in God equals real relationship with God and a love for God that answers the call of obedience! Putting God first in your life is the beginning of greatness! As brother Hagan used to say, “starve the world and feed the word.”
Will you put God first? Relationship with God will step you into being the head, not the tail, it will launch you into that place where you don’t have to chase God’s favor, rather his favor, goodness, and love will chase you! The opportunity of a lifetime has been granted…It's your choice now. So, what will it be…
