MAKING GOALS AND ACHIEVING THEM!

One of the most significant areas God wants to help you in this new year is the area of your emotions! If you are like most of us, you have experienced plenty of hurt, trauma, pain, and rejection. God passionately wants you to feel like he feels so that you can live as he lives! Your feelings are catalysts and will either demote you or promote you! Listen to an apostle Peter says regarding the suffering we experience from insults, threats and the like.

1 Peter 2:21-24  For God called you to do good, even if it means suffering, just as Christ suffered for you. He is your example, and you must follow in his steps.  He never sinned, nor ever deceived anyone.  He did not retaliate when he was insulted, nor threaten revenge when he suffered. He left his case in the hands of God, who always judges fairly.  He personally carried our sins in his body on the cross so that we can be dead to sin and live for what is right. By his wounds, you are healed.

One of the reasons Jesus went through all that he went through, was for the healing of our hearts and emotions. God has made a way through the blood of Jesus and the cross for us to live in complete freedom and healing from the wounds of the past. Simple rest in God will be at the center of your healing! To begin this process consent to the righteousness that is yours through the sacrifice of Jesus. To be healed, you must renew your mind with this truth – God sees you as perfect! You and I have already failed the test of being righteous in God’s sight by our works. This is why Jesus took the test for us and offers us the privilege of accepting his perfect score! He completely aced the test and desires for you to step into his new life of seeing yourself as one who has also aced the test through God's undeserved favor (Grace)! Apostle Paul told us in Romans 12:2 that we would be transformed the renewing of our minds. It is so critical to choose to renew your mind with this truth! This year is destined to be your best year you’ve ever had! Those who achieve their goals and dreams are those who accept their value and worth! It’s time to step into the winner's circle!
