HOLDING TIGHT TO THIS!

Have you ever considered this thought?... What is it that has separated the world from God and what exactly is it that will bring them back to Him? What will give us eternal life with God in heaven? Take a moment to ponder this powerful Scripture.

Col 1:21-23 (NLT)  This includes you who were once far away from God. You were his enemies, separated from him by your evil thoughts and actions. Yet now he has reconciled you to himself through the death of Christ in his physical body. As a result, he has brought you into his own presence, and you are holy and blameless as you stand before him without a single fault.

But you must continue to believe this truth and stand firmly in it. Don’t drift away from the assurance you received when you heard the Good News.

This Scripture gives us another insight as to what happened at the fall of man. We all know that evil thoughts produce evil actions and loving thoughts produce loving actions. Therefore, the good news of Christ’s death for us affords us the power to believe the truth of our right standing with God. This truth is not based upon our good actions but upon faith in the free gift of righteousness granted to us by the blood of Jesus. The secret to an eternal, intimate life with Christ is holding firmly to this truth! We must not let our failures separate us from this truth! Our righteousness does not depend on us but on Christ, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world! (Jn 1:29) This is the truth that you must never let go of! Spending your life on earth in intimacy with God and living forever with God is based upon…
