One of the greatest breakthroughs of a person’s life will come through the recognition of God’s ever-present reality. John chapter 3 records the story of a prominent Pharisee named Nicodemus who came to Jesus at night. He said to Jesus, “Rabbi,” he said, “we all know that God has sent you to teach us. Your miraculous signs are evidence that God is with you.” Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, unless you are born again, you cannot see the Kingdom of God.” Jn 3:2-3 (NLT)

Jesus declared that to “see” or recognize the kingdom of God a person would have to be born again. Being able to comprehend God’s reality is the beginning of true worship and powerful prayer! This is a gift from God! Look at God’s promise to his people through the prophet Jeremiah.

Jeremiah 24:7I will give them hearts that recognize me as the Lord. They will be my people, and I will be their God, for they will return to me wholeheartedly. (NLT)

Only those who come to God wholeheartedly will be able to recognize God’s reality. The anointing to perceive the kingdom of God is reserved for those who make Jesus the Lord of their life. The beginning of real Christianity is a life that is sacrificed for the purposes of God and his kingdom. Apostle Paul declared, “Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God--this is your true and proper worship.Romans 12:1 (NIV)
