HAVE IT!
Sometimes we feel like we are waiting on God, but, in reality, God is waiting on us. Do you know that everything you need for both life and godliness has already been given to you? For some, it’s like having millions of dollars in the bank but never using it because they don’t believe it is really there. The word of God says that you have already been given it. Yes… You Already Have It. We often don’t recognize the spiritual world that is all around us, but it is nonetheless running everything that we can see physically.
2 Peter 1:3 His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.
Ephesians 1:17-21 I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better.
18 I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints,
19 and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is like the working of his mighty strength,
20 which he exerted in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms,
21 far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every title that can be given, not only in the present age but also in the one to come.
What a staggering thought! The very power that raised Jesus Christ from the dead is available to us who believe God! You already have the Word of God and the Holy Spirit! All you need to do is to receive it, and then dive into what is already yours! It is critical that you use what you’ve been given! If you do, you will see God bring about his mighty works in and through your life. May today be your day; the day you appropriate what you’ve already been given! How do you do that? The answer is, number one, sacrifice. The life and power of God begin with giving your life to God as a sacrifice. No surrender to God – no Power! Deciding Jesus Christ will be the Lord of your life is the beginning. The second is renewing your mind with the word of God.. You must set your mind on what God has said is true. Let his truth be the constant meditation of your heart.
Romans 12:1-2 “Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. 2Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.”
The more you receive God’s truth, the more his life will flow through you! Are you ready? Come on, dive in, you already...
