OVERSHADOWED

The prophet, Zechariah knew that it is God alone who gives the victory and he wrote the following.  "Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the Lord Almighty.  Zech 4:6 

There is nothing like God moving in and through you and his favor resting upon you! When the hand of God overshadows a person's life, powerful things happen! Being overshadowed means that the shadow of something greater than you has overtaken you. When the footprint of God’s shadow engulfs the footprint of your shadow, something great is getting ready to happen in and through your life! 

Luke 1:35 The angel answered, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So, the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God. 

Psalm 5:12 (NIV) For surely, O LORD, you bless the righteous; you surround them (or overshadow them) with your favor as with a shield.  

Position your life to receive God's favor! How do you do that, you may ask. It is simply by allowing the faith and love of God to consume you! It is when your greatest effort is believing God! Faith does not come from trying hard but rather through the revelation of God’s word. 

So, then faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God. Romans 10:17 

What you meditate on will become you! If you meditate on God, all that he is will become you and your life will be overshadowed by who he is! As I have said, "An ounce of favor is worth a lifetime of labor!"
