A LIVING REALITY
There is a lot of need all around us; people genuinely need to see the reality of the love of God! Jesus told us to pray that the Lord of the harvest would send forth laborers into this harvest field. He said, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.” (Lk 10:2)
In Matthew 28, the Lord gave us the commission to go to all the world and make disciples.
Matthew 28:18-20 And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age. (ESV)
What does it look like to be a minister or ambassador of Christ? What should we be doing to advance the gospel around the world?
Matthew 25:37-40 “Then these righteous ones will reply, ‘Lord, when did we ever see you hungry and feed you? Or thirsty and give you something to drink? Or a stranger and show you hospitality? Or naked and give you clothing? When did we ever see you sick or in prison and visit you?’ “And the King will say, ' I tell you the truth, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were doing it to me!’ (NLT)

What did Jesus life look like? What did Jesus do? He loved and served people.
Matthew 28:26-28 Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, 27and whoever wants to be first must be your slave— 28 just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”
It is time for us as the body of Christ to rise up and be Jesus to our world! We can only give away what we possess. Therefore, it is of utmost importance that we focus our lives on receiving and living in the love of God! It is time for us to be the living reality of Jesus on this earth! I believe a lot of the world is saying, “Will the real God please stand.” Let us rise to the occasion and be living witnesses of what Jesus is really like. Are you on his team?
