Before Jesus was born, an angel came to Joseph and declared that his fiancée, Mary, would have a baby, and his name would be Immanuel, meaning God with us. Have you ever considered the importance of that powerful statement and the consequent gravity of our God and his love for us? Think about it; Does he really care about you? Does he really love you? Are you really that valuable that he would send his only son for you? The answer is an emphatic and resounding YES! God’s longing is not for stars and planets; his longing is for you! 

Mt 1:23 The Virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel -- which means, "God with us." 

God with us? Really? Wow! Is it really possible? Yes, it is! God's Spirit is so real, and he is so longing to reveal himself to you. 

Hebrews 11:6 declares, "And without faith, it is impossible to please God.” 

God knows the only way you will experience him is by believing him. Oh, please hear! You must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. (Heb 11:6) He is all around you and within you. There is nothing that you do without him; you do not even breathe without him! God is all around you and within you, and he longs for you to experience his reality. 

Oh, may the grace of God be upon you today to believe in what you cannot see and experience what you have not yet known! Wow! Wow! Wow! Oh, this is so powerful…
