IN GEAR?
Nike’s iconic saying, "Just Do It" is indeed some great advice. Many times we sit around and wait for the perfect moment, the perfect weather, the perfect scenario when really, all we need to do is "Just Do It." Apostle Paul encouraged the church at Colossae regarding this point by saying, “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men, 24 since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.” Colossians 3:23-24

Many people think that since they know what the Bible says, they are okay. Quoting the Bible is far different than doing the Bible. Apostle James phrased it in this way, “Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it—not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it—they will be blessed in what they do.” James 1:22-25
