TRUE WORSHIP
Here is a profound concept. True worship is powerful enough to bring supernatural health to you and yours! God has provided a way for his blessing to be upon what you eat and drink, which in turn will bring you divine health, the prosperity of family, and long life. It all comes from worship!
Ex 23:25-26 Worship the LORD your God, and his blessing will be on your food and water. I will take away sickness from among you, and none will miscarry or be barren in your land. I will give you a full life span.
Wow! This is a promise that God gave to his people, the children of Israel, the Jews. Do you know that you are included in his family? Look at what Apostle Paul told the Roman church, “A person is not a Jew who is one only outwardly, nor is circumcision merely outward and physical. No, a person is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is circumcision of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the written code. Such a person’s praise is not from other people, but from God.” Romans 2:28-29
When you believed God, you became a Jew in God’s sight. You are eligible for all the inheritance of God. So, the question becomes, what or who are you worshipping?
One of the greatest joys you will ever know this side of heaven is the euphoria of intimacy with God! It’s time to increase our focus on the One from whom all blessings flow! True worship is far more than prayer, singing, or lifting one’s hands to God. True worship is a life that is surrendered to God and his purpose. Apostle Paul explains worship by saying, “Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual act of worship.” Romans 12:1
Offering my body as a living sacrifice to God is what real worship is! This means that my spirit and my body must be surrendered and obedient to the will of God. Apostle Paul said, “Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore, honor God with your body. 1Cor 6:19-20
It is this kind of life that invokes the favor and blessing of God. The blessing of God is not merely money. True blessing and prosperity are that which flows from a prosperous soul.
3 Jn 2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. (KJV)
When a person prospers in their soul (mind, will, and emotions), every other prosperity follows. The following quote from Isaiah 53, in context, lets us know that both physical and emotional healing are God’s heart for us.
1 Pet 2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. (KJV)
It is God’s great desire for you to be blessed and healthy! Natural prosperity is made known when the prosperity of the soul is obtained through a life of worship! True worship causes us to enter into that blessed place of the rest of God, where labor for personal righteousness has ended and full trust in God has found its solid anchor!
Are you ready for a life of God’s abundance? Jesus said, “I am come that they might have life and that they might have it more abundantly.” Jn10:10b KJV God’s wonderful and abundant life is available to you right now!
