DO IT THE WAY HE DID IT!

We see in the word of God that Jesus often withdrew to lonely places to pray. (Luke 5:16) We know that he was consistently and continuously in tune with his Father. (Jn 10:30, Jn 5:19, Jn 12:49) 

It is interesting how we become what we meditate on and are influenced and changed by those we hang out with. Show me the books you read and those you associate with, and I can show you your future. A life of success is a mindset of success. The New Testament focuses on our minds because this is where we win or lose in life. 

Col 3:1-2 Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God.

Eph 4:31-32 Get rid of all bitterness, rage, and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.

Rom 12:2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing, and perfect will.

Please keep this in mind; what you consistently look at is what you will become! The success of your future is determined by what dominates your thoughts! If you want to become like Christ, you must set our mind on Christ! 

Jesus made time to be with his Father and stayed in constant fellowship with him. Like Jesus, we must make the effort to remain intimately connected to God at all times. This kind of life produces heaven’s results on earth! 

There is no better day than today to set your sights on a life that’s filled with God’s best for you! Today is your day to focus on the truths of success found in the word of God! Today is your day to choose what you will become! Today’s your day to…
