IT’S TIME TO PRAISE HIM!

Happy Sunday! Today people will meet worldwide to give God what he so deserves – praise, honor, and worship! God does not need our worship. On the contrary, we desperately need the love and empowerment found in that special connection with him! The God of all the universe is passionately in love with you today. He longs to lavish his love upon you and to be gracious to you!

Isaiah 30:18 Yet the Lord longs to be gracious to you; therefore, he will rise up to show you compassion. For the Lord is a God of justice. Blessed are all who wait for him!

During this Thanksgiving season, we have the unique opportunity to bless the heart of our loving God through praise and worship! Though God longs for us to enter and abide in his presence, some secrets make it possible. Psalm 22:3 Lets us know that God inhabits the praises of his people! There is something about a heart of thanksgiving that causes us to step into the glorious presence of Almighty God! King David understood this concept, and here is what he wrote.

Ps 100:4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving; go into his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and praise his name.

Ps 145:1-3 We will exalt You, my God the King; I will praise Your name forever and ever. Every day I will praise You and extol Your name forever and ever. Great is the LORD and most worthy of praise; His greatness no one can fathom.

Ps 145:8-10 The LORD is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and rich in love. The LORD is good to all; He has compassion on all He has made. All you have made will praise You, O LORD; Your saints will extol You.

Psalms 50:23 He who sacrifices thank offerings honors me, and he prepares the way so that I may show him the salvation of God.”

Life-giving power is accessed by those who will take the time to express their gratitude to God! According to these Scriptures, the salvation of God is tapped into when you thank and praise him!

Exodus 34:6 Our God is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and rich in love!

With all that’s going on in the world, I find excitement brewing in my spirit! I believe Jesus is coming back very soon! There is no time in history that I would rather live than right now! We are soon going to see him face-to-face!

In light of that, there is no better day than today and no better time than now to give God what he deserves! Make up your mind that during this Thanksgiving season, you won’t stand on the sidelines –get involved – jump into what God is doing in the body of Christ today because…
