FINISH THIS YEAR WITH A THANKFUL HEART!

I don’t want Thanksgiving to be the only time I choose to be thankful! I want to live my every day with an unceasing heart of thankfulness for all God has done! 

Psalm 100:3-5 Acknowledge that the LORD is God! He made us, and we are his. We are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving; go into his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and praise his name. For the LORD is good. His unfailing love continues forever, and his faithfulness continues to each generation.

Psalm 116:17-19 I will sacrifice a thank offering to you and call on the name of the LORD. I will fulfill my vows to the LORD in the presence of all his people, in the courts of the house of the LORD-- in your midst, O Jerusalem. Praise the LORD.

I want to spend the rest of my life acknowledging the goodness of God! The best way I can spend the rest of my life in that attitude is to take possession of this moment. Life is always experienced in the now. I can’t wait till tomorrow to be grateful and to tell God how much I appreciate him; I must do it now! Those who will have a great life will be those who know how to live in the now! Remember, the price of your future is your present! What you do now will determine your tomorrow! 

Without a doubt, one of the greatest secrets of a fulfilling, abundant life is a thankful heart! This wonderful season of Thanksgiving lends us the special opportunity to be focused on the goodness of God! I am excited about what is ahead! Come on— Let’s…
