LET SOMEONE KNOW

Many times, we go through things that are difficult and are tempted to wonder why. But we need to remember that God excels at taking the mess of one’s life and turning it into a message! No matter how difficult or impossible it seems, he can take those trials and turn them into testimonies! God is indeed a master at exchanging beauty for ashes! When we are willing to surrender the ashes of our failures and traumas, he is more than ready to exchange it for beauty! 

You can be sure of this, your testimony counts! What God has done in your life, the way he has shown you kindness and mercy, is a powerful tool to bring change to someone else’s life! In the following story, Jesus had just delivered a man from demon possession, and the crowds were amazed and perplexed. When Jesus was leaving, the man who had been delivered wanted to go with him. Look at what Jesus told him. 

Mark 5:18-20 As Jesus was getting into the boat, the man who had been demon-possessed begged to go with him. But Jesus said, “No, go home to your family, and tell them everything the Lord has done for you and how merciful he has been.” So, the man started off to visit the Ten Towns of that region and began to proclaim the great things Jesus had done for him, and everyone was amazed at what he told them.

The best tool you have in your spiritual tool bag of evangelism is your testimony! People are moved by your real experiences far more than they are by your biblical knowledge! People can argue facts, but it is fruitless to argue with someone’s genuine experience. Also, one of the greatest weapons you have against the devil’s lies is the truth of your testimony. Look at how apostle John states that the church will defeat the enemy in the end times. 

Rev 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony, and they loved not their lives unto the death.

Get your spiritual tool bag out today! I think it’s time for you to tell someone how good God has been to you! Someone needs to know what God has brought you through. The story of God’s transforming power in your life is the best key to bringing about change in others’ lives. Today is a great day for your life to make a difference in this hurting and lost world! There is no better time than now to let God’s kingdom advance through you! I believe you were born for such a time as this! Oh, yes! It’s time to…
