FULLY RECEIVE

God wants you to know beyond any question that nothing can separate you from the love he has for you! He sacrificed everything for you. He is not about to let you go! It is not the stars or the rest of the universe that God is passionate about; it is you! 

Rom 8:38-39 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Several years of my life were lived entirely against everything my parents had taught me. I’m sure my lifestyle brought a lot of pain to their hearts, but they never gave up on me. I could have chosen to leave the family, change my name, and be forever separated from them, but they were never willing to give up on me. God is not weak; nothing can separate you from his grip! In his arms, you are loved and completely safe! God’s love is not only secure, but it is everlasting! Consider these precious promises. 

Jer 31:3 The Lord appeared to us in the past, saying: “I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness.

Heb 13:5-6 Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” So, we say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?”

Oh, how much he loves you. Yes, you and I have done wrong, but there is no sin too evil, no drug too high, no sex too perverted, no anger too hideous that the provision of the blood of Jesus has not already paid for. There is no such thing as going so far that God cannot reach you. That would make sin more powerful than the blood of Jesus – I don’t think so! Consider this powerful scripture. 

Romans 5:15–17 But the gift is not like the trespass. For if the many died by the trespass of the one man, how much more did God’s grace and the gift that came by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, overflow to the many! 16 Nor can the gift of God be compared with the result of one man’s sin: The judgment followed one sin and brought condemnation, but the gift followed many trespasses and brought justification. 17 For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God’s abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ! 

Do you see that? How much more! Jesus took the penalty for all of your failures and mistakes. God is never going to let you go. The safest place for you is in his arms! One thing you can know for sure is that He really loves you right now! 

If you think you failed so much that there’s no hope for you, think again! If you have a desire to run to him, know that it is he who is drawing you. I understand that these thoughts can seem almost too good to be true, but be assured it is true. At some point, you must surrender to the reality that the love of God is beyond your ability to fully comprehend! Now is the time to end the life of trying to deserve God’s love or feeling like you have to fully understand it before receiving it. Oh, yes! Now is the time to let go and...
