FAITHFUL

There is one thing you can be sure of. God will never leave you or forsake you! You are his! He wants you and cares for you more than anyone. People often look to those around them to fulfill their deepest needs and longings. But people are fallible, and their love can change. Not only that, human love does not have the power to meet your deepest needs. 

Deut 7:9 Know therefore that the LORD your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commands.

Heb 13:5b ...For God has said, “I will never fail you. I will never abandon you.”

People often believe God’s loving care for them is based upon their ability to do all the right things. They imagined that God’s faithful love only applied to them when they kept God’s commands perfectly. But I want you to know that God remains faithful even when we are unfaithful! 

2 Tim 2:13 if we are faithless, he will remain faithful, for he cannot disown himself.

Heb 10:23 Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.

God is wholly invested in you! You are his dream come true! God so loved the world that he gave his only Son. 

John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son. That whoever would believe in him would not perish but would have everlasting life.

God did not pay for all your sin so that you would still look to him based upon your performance. No! He died to set you free! 

Gal 5:1 It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.

More than anything in all of the world, God wants you! God is not going to drop you because you’ve made a mistake or failed. You are everything he has ever wanted! Will you trust him today? He is not only in you but all around you right now, and he is trustworthy. You will experience your best life to the degree that you surrender to the fact that God is entirely trustworthy and…
