CRAZY IN LOVE WITH HIM

The more I understand how good God is, the more I find myself loving him! The more his love is revealed to me, the more I naturally love him back! The book of Psalms is filled with Scriptures regarding a heart that has been so touched by the love of God that it reciprocates passionate love back towards him.

Psalm 42:1 As the deer pants for the water, so my soul longs after you oh God. Psalm 63:1 O God, you are my God, earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you, my body longs for you, in a dry and weary land where there is no water. 

Psalm 84:2 My soul yearns, even faints, for the courts of the LORD; my heart and my flesh cry out for the living God. 

So, what makes a person have that kind of hunger and thirst for God? Why would somebody be so desperate for God? The answer is this; when someone finds out how truly loving and forgiving and gracious God is, they can hardly stand it! The experience one has is so great that all else pales in comparison! To know and experience God is something that is not only unexplainable but inexpressible. 

1 Peter 1:8-9 NIV Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, for you are receiving the goal of your faith, the salvation of your souls.

May you be willing to fully surrender to our wonderful God and Creator of the universe! He wants to reveal himself to you! Are you ready to put him before all other desires and purposes so that you can gain real life? My prayer for you today is that his love would so touch you that you will be able to say, I am…
