SO VERY CLOSE!

When I was young, I would often pray in the evening, looking up into the stars. As I prayed, I would think, “God are you there?” Later I began to comprehend the reality of God all around me and within me. This understanding is one of the great secrets of powerful and effective prayer. The fact of God being all around you and in you would not be comforting without the understanding of his precious love for you! 

Though it is impossible to comprehend God’s love in its fullness, the reality of its truth at any level is inspiring! You are more precious to God than anything or anybody has been precious to you! You are God’s dream come true! You are the passion of God’s heart! You are at the center of his most intimate thoughts! Do you comprehend that this wonderful, loving God is with you right now? 

Ps 34:18  The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. 

Ps 145:18-19 The LORD is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth. He fulfills the desires of those who fear him; he hears their cry and saves them. 

Hebrews 13:5  Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you."

He is so close; it is as if you can almost feel his breath! Right now, he is there with you, doting over you and longing for you to know his precious love for you! My question to you is, will you trust Him? Will you let Him love you? For you to tap into these truths, it will require you to believe what you cannot physically see and accept what mere knowledge cannot explain.  

The quickest way to experience intimacy with God is to set your mind on what his word declares. When placing your thoughts on what God says is true about you becomes your way of life. You will find intimacy with him to be your reality! I am blown away by the God of love that we serve! Don’t ever think you have to figure it out! Assuming that you have to understand it all to believe will keep you from ever stepping into it. This is why Jesus told us that we must come to him like a little child if we are going to enter into his kingdom! Matthew 18:3 Don’t try to figure it out – just believe! I have often said, “Don’t work it up; just soak it up.”  

I’m praying for you today! As I pray, I am believing God for an increase of revelation for you so that you would know even more how close he is to you! Oh yes! He is…
