PREGNANCY GIVES WAY TO BIRTH
A while ago, I was in the store and struck up a conversation with a young man. I asked him how he was doing, and he said, “I am tired.” He went on to explain, "I have a new girlfriend, and so I’m staying up late at night and spending all my money on her.” This young man, because he found love, was expending himself to get as much of that love as he could.
What a great picture for those who believe! The more we understand the immensity of the precious love God has for us, the more we want to spend time with him and be intimate with him! As a matter of fact, the more we experience God, the more we become willing to expend everything that we are so that we can know him (be intimate with him)! Though apostle Paul had quite a few accolades behind his name and was well known for his works, he made this profound statement:
Philippians 3:7-11 But whatever were gains to me I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. 8 What is more, I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them garbage, that I may gain Christ 9 and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in a Christ—the righteousness that comes from God on the basis of faith. 10 I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, 11 and so, somehow, attaining to the resurrection from the dead.
This is why apostle Paul said, “If I act like I am crazy or out of my mind it is for the sake of Christ.” 2Cor 5:13a Intimacy with God has a cascading effect on our lives, causing heavens prosperity to touch our feelings, emotions, health, and even wealth! What goes into you determines what comes out of you! Your passion for knowing God will drive you to the word of God and prayer. This is why the word of God and prayer is a non-negotiable for those who long to know God! Intimacy with him, through his word and prayer, causes the release of his power and anointing in your life! Listen to what the prophet, Daniel says about those who are intimate with their God.
But the people that do know their God shall be strong and do exploits. Dan 11:32 KJV
It is through those who know God that power and anointing are poured out! The word of God is the DNA and genetic code of God himself and when adhered to, will cause unequaled freedom and purpose!
John 8:31-32 in the Amplified version says, "So Jesus said to those Jews who had believed in Him, If you abide in My word [hold fast to My teachings and live in accordance with them], you are truly My disciples. And you will know the Truth, and the Truth will set you free.
When you live a life of communion with God through the word of God and prayer, your life becomes filled with all that he is! The greater the abundance of him inside of you, the more of an abundance of him will flow through you! You become like a pregnant woman – filled with life!
The time is ripe for us to be pregnant with the love and life of God so that we can birth his beautiful and glorious purpose! Oh, what an honor to be one through whom heaven's riches flow!
