Spending time with God in worship and prayer has exceptional benefits! Those who know how to tap into the presence of God by faith end up with the reward of God upon their life. Many people want to hear the voice of God but haven't been to the place where God is. Do you know where God is? That might sound obvious, but many people haven’t found the secret of having intimate time with him. Look at this scripture: 

Heb 11:6  And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him. 

So, what do the words come to him mean? If you’re going to go to God, where is he? Where do you have to go? Clearly, we don’t go to heaven while were here on earth to meet with him, so where can a person go to tap into God? 

This is where faith comes in. A person must embrace the invisible to expect to have a relationship with our wonderful and loving God who is unseen. Of course, this is not a physical place and does not require a specific physical posture, but rather a state of heart and mind. So how do you go to him? In your heart and mind, you recognize, receive, and step into what is unseen. 

So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.  2 Corinthians 4:18 

A mighty work for the kingdom was getting ready to be accomplished and these men and women of God needed to hear from the Lord. You can be sure, real worship with prayer and fasting get God's attention! The apostle needed the guidance of the Holy Spirit, look at what they did. 

Acts 13:2   While they were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, “Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.” 

Do you need to hear the voice of God in your life? Are there areas in your life where you need supernatural guidance and direction! Apostle Paul was a man who sought the face of God and those around him were trained by his example to fix their eyes on what is unseen. 

My prayer for you today is that you would find God in the secret place of worship and fasting! I pray that you will recognize the mighty, awesome, and most beautiful presence of God in you and all around you. To be led by the unseen, you must enter the unseen, and this is by faith and faith alone. Truly recognizing and accepting the truth that God is in you and all around you is the first step. This revelation will cause you to have an amazing life of prayer and worship and will cause you to display the powerful works of the kingdom of God.
