SMOOTH AND EFFORTLESS SAILING

Intimacy with God enables a person to live a life of real purpose and significance! Those who lived their lives in intimacy with God will experience a divine wind at their back and the strength to carry on when others would quit! 

Have you ever watched an eagle soaring high in the sky? They do not struggle; they effortlessly sore higher and higher because of the power of the wind that they are tapping into. Similarly, once a sailboat reaches the open seas it does not need ores to propel it forward. As a matter of fact, at this point, ores will only slow it down because now it is being propelled by the power of the wind. No longer does the crew have to strain and struggle at the ores because the power of the wind causes effortless sailing. 

Effortless sailing is what happens to a person’s life when they tap into the power of God that comes from relying upon and trusting in him. When we trust God, and therefore put him first in our thought life and choices, it produces a life that is empowered by His inspiration and strength versus human effort! Oh, that we would genuinely trust him and put him first!

Isa 40:31  But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; they shall walk, and not faint.

God is longing for us to step into the empowered life that he created for us! The life of faith is far more exciting and wonderful than what we have ever dreamed or imagined! When you are willing to trust Him, there is no circumstance or trial that is greater than God’s ability to help! 

He is in love with you and through him, you can do all things! (Phil 4:13) It is God’s will that you live enabled by his power and strength! Yes! You can have more of God’s empowerment working for you in your life today! How is that possible, you may ask? The answer is in trusting God and living a life of intimacy with him.
